Yulia Lebedeva “Place”, video

The short ‘Place’ video is about finding ones place, identity. We see the artist going from one place to an other, opening doors and sometimes shutting them firmly, never to be opened again, others left open. There is a certain beauty in the simplicity of this everyday and yet grandiose action of opening a door. Farewell to the never forgotten but left behind and welcome to the new.

Yulia Lebedeva “High Flight”, video

The High Flight is a light hearted short film about nothing really but the unbearable lightness of being. Inspired by cinematic begininngs in early 1900's with its simple yet detailed mis-en-scene and the moving wind in trees.
