The Black Box is a device constructed by Sveta Isaeva’s grandmother, an instrument to help understand the reason for a plane crash. In the frozen and confined space of the video the artist herself and members of her family (grandmother, mother and aunt) retell one another fragments of various stories about collective or personal flights and disasters.
